This is a unique internship opportunity for graduate and undergraduate students who are interested in a hands-on opportunity to create the communications messaging, branding, and social media management for a new nonprofit. Working with the Chief Operating Officer, students will work individually and as a team on projects assigned according to their area of interest. Project Opportunities for the interns include marketing/communications strategy creation, execution of social media messaging, and working with the Malawi team to tell the story of WFG’s Malawi impact in global water, sanitation, and hygiene issues.

Individuals who are interested in nonprofit program design, who want to understand how to use methods of measurement to evaluate programming, and to experience data collection for programmatic use should apply to join our Program Management Internship. This is the most impactful internship to a nonprofit organization. Understanding the needs of the nonprofit, this internship opportunity will allow interested parties to brainstorm ways to conduct research on potential donors, strategic partners, markets and industries both in Malawi and the United States, assist the COO in preparing reports and presentations, and hone their skills on grant writing. This individual will work with the COO and Communications team on telling the story of WFG’s Malawi impact in global water, sanitation, and hygiene issues.
